Jim Claire
As a capital markets professional with 30+ years of asset management and investing experience, Jim is proud to be able to bring this knowledge to his clients at Double Eagle Partners.
Jim maintains an excellent financial markets acumen and economic trend analysis, which helps his clients capitalize on investment opportunities. He utilizes a strong analytical and risk management background combined with excellent communication and client relationship skills to help educate his clientele, whom he treats as “partners”.
Jim started his career on Wall Street in 1986 with Bear Stearns and later joining Brown Brothers Harriman& Co. After 12 years in NYC, he moved to Charlotte NC to work for First Union, Wachovia, and Bank of America. Later in his career Jim spent a couple of years in Washington DC as a regulator with the FDIC and then back to NYC to join the second largest bank in Japan, Mizuho.
Jim is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative with the State of North Carolina and has successfully passed the following FINRA examinations:
- Series 24 – General Securities Principal
- Series 7 – General Securities Representative
- Series 63 & 66 – Uniform Combined State Securities Agent
